5W5 High Power Connector , Solder Right Angle Male D-Sub Connector

This 5-pin D-sub MIX 5W5 D-sub combo connector features a solder type connection for high current applications. D-type connectors typically consist of two or more parallel rows of connections within a D-format metal shell that provides mechanical strength and limited electromagnetic screening.

The metal shells of plug and socket connectors make contact to enhance screening capabilities. Panel mounting connectors are secured using nuts with additional threading to prevent mating connectors from working loose. Free connectors can be equipped with backshells that provide either screening and cable screen connection (metal) or protection (plastic), along with strain relief for the cable.

Standard D-sub connectors with two rows of pins (such as 9, 15, 25, and 37-way configurations) feature pins spaced approximately 0.108 inch (2.74 mm) apart, with rows spaced 0.112 inch (2.84 mm) apart. Higher pin counts and densities are achieved through additional rows of pins.
